Creating unforgettable weddings is what I’m passionate about. It’s more than just a job to me—it’s about taking the ideas my couples have in mind and turning them into a celebration that feels uniquely theirs. I became a mom in 2023, and balancing a growing family with a thriving business has been the best kind of challenge. When I’m not crafting timelines or dreaming up stunning wedding designs, you’ll find me outdoors camping, exploring with my son and our Bernese mountain dog, Maizie, or wine tasting in the Okanagan. In winter, I love snowshoeing and snowboarding, though I’m waiting for the day my little one can tag along without breaking my back!
I’ve been captivated by the world of events for as long as I can remember and officially began my event planning career in 2014. With a diploma in Event & Promotions Management, I started out thinking I’d work in corporate events, but social events stole my heart. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in nearly every corner of the industry – from overseeing and executing large event rentals and coordinating catering to day-of planning & design, and even managing a bridal boutique. By 2018, I launched my own business, and just a year later, I was fully booked with couples who trusted me to bring their dream weddings to life.
Weddings in the Okanagan are unlike any other. With 80% of our couples coming from out of town, their weddings often double as a first introduction to our gorgeous mountains, lake views, and rolling vineyards. I love creating moments that “wow” couples and guests alike, crafting intentional details that make a big impact. My design philosophy is “less is more” – a clean, sophisticated approach that allows each element to shine.
These days, I take on a limited number of weddings each season to stay fully present with my family and give every couple the attention they deserve. I’ve also brought on an incredible team of planners to help us grow and serve even more couples. Good things take time, and I’m committed to doing it right.
